Many have described it as the biggest event of 2022, despite the fact that the 2nd quarter of the year has just begun. And rightly so, due to the pomp, pageantry, exclusivity and prestige that characterised the night when the Kwahu State dinner was held.
The 22nd January event was the first edition of what is expected to be an annual affair on the Kwahu calendar. It was hosted by the Kwahuhene, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II and was graced by the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.
It was a night of elegance and great pride where the industriousness, academic excellence and admirable professional exploits of the people of Kwahu origin were celebrated. The event came off at the biggest hotel in West Africa, Rock city, located at Nkwatia.
It was indeed a grand celebration of everything Kwahu. Asaase Aban, Yεnte Gyae!
