The French Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Anne Sophie Avé in collaboration with twin photographers, TwinsDntBeg and Lakeside Village have organized the “TwinsDntBeg Premier Photo Exhibition & Creative Showcase and dinner night.
Popularly known as Twins Don’t Beg, italised as TwinsDntBeg, the twin photographers Emmanuel and Samuel Appiah Gyan began their photography journey in 2015 and have worked with celebrities and figures both locally and internationally. They are currently the official photographers of the Second Lady of Ghana, Samira Bawumia.
The event, which took place Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the residence of the France Ambassador in Accra was a night of artistic displays, diplomatic and business conversation, networking, cocktail dinner and good music.
The high-profile event had in attendance personalities from the Diplomatic Corp, top business executives, politicians, musicians, actors and the wife of the Vice President of Ghana, H.E Samira Bawumia.
In her speech, Second Lady Samira Bawumia lauded the twins for their collaborative efforts to continue to put Ghana and Africa on the world map through their artistry works in photography and their excellent delivery.
She said “They’ve come this far because of grit. They are dedicated and resilient, they work hard and grind. That’s the journey to success and I am privileged and proud to associate with them.”
On her part, H.E Anne Sophie Avé also applauded the twins for their consistency and for keenly chasing their interests.
Also present was Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, who also did not mince words to congratulate the twins for how far they have thrived int heir photography journey.
He said “I stand for the youth of Africa and I am so proud that they’re coming from a typical African society and have made it with arts through photography. I want Ghanaians to learn from these twins because they have started paving the way for millions of children and the youth across Africa.”
The event was climaxed with the cutting of a special birthday cake from the Second Lady to TwinsDntBeg to mark their birthday which coincided with the event.
