Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc holds its maiden music concert successfully in Accra

Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc, the parent company of Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited, has held its first-ever show outside the shores of Nigeria tagged, GTCO Music Concert in Ghana.

The GTCO Music Concert is a community engagement event designed to spotlight the best of African entertainment to a global audience whilst promoting wider acceptance of individuals and a shared character as exciting and energetic people.

According to Divisional Head, Corporate Communication and Experience at GTBank, Agnes Owusu-Afram, said the concert was part of measures to say thank you to cherished customers through bringing onboard the artistes to perform.

“GTBank has been operating in Ghana for the past 15 years and we feel that this is a good opportunity to say thank you to our cherished customers and the entire country for their acceptance and business. And what better way to do this than with something they love – music,” she said.

She stated that the bank is hoping to get the opportunity to have the programme organised annually, adding that “we appreciate each and every one who has supported GTBank up till now. We also thank patrons who accepted our invitation and call to attend this event to make it such a huge success.”

The night explored the joy of music and celebrated the beauty in diversity, a common heritage, and collective aspirations. The lively crowd enjoyed authentic sounds, ranging from afro-beats, hip-hop, highlife, dance hall, reggae etc.

The event which was held at the Accra Sports Stadium featured thrilling performances from some of Africa’s brightest breakout stars of both Ghanaian and Nigerian origin like Wande Coal, Buju, Zlatan, Adina, Gyakie, Kuami Eugene, Kofi Kinaata, Stonebwoy, Davido among others.

The GTCO Music Concert combines our strong zest for life and unparalleled dynamism to create a great experience that goes beyond banking,” a statement from the company indicated.

Fans of the billed musicians trooped in to show their support to them while they dance to the good tunes from all the energetic performances by the artistes.
