Republic Bank inaugurates Tema branch

Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC has inaugurated its ultra-modern branch at Tema.  The new branch was inaugurated following the relocation of the Tema Branch to Nicholas Plaza, Meridian Enclave.

According to the Managing Director Mr Farid Antar, the relocation was necessitated due to the growing branch customer base and the strategic direction of the Bank to be more visible within business centers.

He also added that the new outlook of the Branch is a representation of the Republic Bank brand and the future it beholds. “We are gradually moving to becoming a digitized Bank while providing a comfortable banking ambience to our customers across the country”.

The Managing Director touted Republic Bank as a bank in Ghana with one of the best branch outlooks.

He also took the opportunity to appreciate the staff of the Bank for the great contributions especially over the last three years as the Bank continues to make steady progress in changing its narrative.

Over the past three years, Republic Bank has been full of activities retooling. Many of the Bank’s banking halls have seen major facelifts including the on-going construction of Republic Courts situated at the prestigious Ridge roundabout enclave.

Republic Bank has also massively invested and improved on the technology and electronic payment systems including a Mobile App (RepublicMobile Ghana) an improved Internet Banking (RepublicOnline), an improved USSD and Credit Card which will be unveiled as part of the Step into Success campaign. The Bank has improved upon its information security systems and now certified by ISO/IEC and PCIDSS.

Further, an SME Toolkit has been developed to support SME Businesses. The Bank last year introduced its Seven Service Elements and has invested in building the capacity of Staff to deliver superior service to ensure that stepping into any Republic Bank portal, is stepping into true success either from the Bank’s digital platforms or at any branch nationwide.
