Nyaho Medical Centre, Ghana’s premier group medical practice, has been adjudged the best in HR Management in Healthcare at the 2021 HR Focus Awards held in Accra. The Centre won this prestigious industry award for outstanding service, professionalism, technical expertise and exceptional performance in HR management in healthcare.
This year’s edition saw stiff competition among major industry players, as well as the introduction of new categories to honour organisations which have achieved exceptional feats during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Elizabeth Arhin, Human Resource Director of Nyaho Medical Centre, described the award as testament to the Centre’s commitment to ensuring that its key stakeholders, the employees of Nyaho Medical Centre, benefit from best HR practices.
“We do not take this win lightly. We are extremely grateful to the entire management and employees of Nyaho for their efforts in realising this feat. This recognition has spurred us on to do even better in the years ahead, to deliver bigger and better people interventions as we work together with the entire business to ensure a great quality of life for all,” she added.
Dr. Elikem Tamaklo, Managing Director of Nyaho Medical Centre, registered his appreciation for the award and comended the Human Resource Department for their effort in building a strong team in the private healthcare sector.
He emphasised that Nyaho will continue working to improve the quality of life for its people, as an integral part of efforts to drive the Centre’s mission of transforming the lives of patients by surpassing expectations in healthcare and inspire hope for a better Africa.
