The Executive Director of Kandifo Institute, Palgrave Boakye-Danquah has been nominated for the 40 under 40 awards under the category Authorship and Creative Writing.
The 40 under 40 Award seeks to identify, honour and celebrate a cross-section of the nation’s most influential and accomplished young business leaders under the age forty from a wide range of industries we cover, who are committed to business growth, professional excellence and community service and have risen up the ranks of their companies or industries at a relatively young age as result of this.
The organizers of this award believe that putting the spotlight on these young achievers will not just celebrate them but will also build a wider and stronger platform for them by giving a voice and opportunities to the next generation of industry pacesetters whiles building a positive attitude in our youth to strive for excellence at a tender age.
The awarding board is looking for outstanding executives, entrepreneurs, managers and professionals in the public and private as well as non-profit sector, recognize their attributes such as their achievements in business, experience and innovation, vision, leadership and community involvement.
The award categories cover a wide range of various sectors which ranges from banking and finance, energy, family business, agriculture, theatre and arts, journalism, law, sports, technology and innovation, fashion, health and event planning.
The reason for this award is to acknowledge and celebrate 40 emerging leaders under the age of 40 who demonstrate and impact both professionally and personally through exceptional leadership.
Secondly, it is to identify individual and project achievements that have enabled young achievers to set them apart from their competitors and have produced clear and compelling value, return on investment and other relevant results. Lastly to encourage our upcoming youth that excellence and success can be achieved at a very tender age.
Palgrave Boakye-Danquah established Kandifo Institute, a think-tank to spearhead strategic policy reformations and to represent developmental interest of the average Ghanaian youth on both governmental and social levels, in the year 2018.
In just three years, he has led this great initiative into becoming the fastest developing and most dynamic, influential and independent Ghanaian organization with world class expertise in transformational leadership and government relations and has spearheaded dynamic dialogues which are influencing public policy reformations.
He is a passionate leader who thrives to transmit and entrust what he has learnt to a reliable and faithful generation who will be qualified and competent enough to teach others. Everything he does is with warmth, sense of purpose, compassion and enthusiasm.
Palgrave Boakye-Danquah is so passionate about young people and has taken a personal interest in integrating early teenagers and young adults in research, policy analysis, training, mentoring and coaching in leadership succession integrity to bring about efficient and effect governance and economic development.
He has an influence on over one million young people in the country. He has trained almost 500,000 young people across four continents in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America and has also equipped over 3,000 churches and worked with almost 300 rural and urban communities in 78 countries.
While working for J-Life Africa for many years, one of Palgrave’s role was the writing and implementation of training manuals. He is a past Head of Programmes at Danquah Institute and now the Executive Director of Kandifo Institute.
He holds a master’s degree in Conflict, Peace and Security from Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center and two bachelor’s degrees from University of Ghana and Trinity Theological Seminary. He has been involved in creative writing and authorship since 1995.
Still having interest in authorship and creative writing, he has been able to publish two books titled ‘Go in search of the one’ and ‘Saved Alone’ which have sold 1 million copies since it was published. He also has unpublished manuscript on pertinent matters which he hopes to publish in future.
