Belshaw Limited wins Outstanding Disinfectant Product of the Year

Belshaw Limited, the leading producer of disinfectants, degreasers, and detergents, has been adjudged the Outstanding Disinfectant Product of the Year 2020, at the 8th edition of Made In Ghana Awards (MIDA), held at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra.

Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG), organisers of the awards noted that Belshaw Limited’s contribution towards the promotion of Made In Ghana goods for about four decade is second to none in the country.

General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Belshaw Limited, Saviour Korbla Tamakloe dedicated the award to the brain behind Belshaw Limited, Engineers Kwabena Sarpong and Nana Afia Sarpong, customers, end-users of their and the entire team for their hard work and dedication.

To him, the award is well deserved because Belshaw has become a household name and the CEO, board, management but most importantly clients have made Belshaw a brand of choice.

He said, they will not relent on their efforts to do what their clients and end-users expect them to do, adding that they will go the extra mile to deliver the best to satisfy market demands. “We are expanding the market from the hospital base to the household and to other manufacturing sectors. We can assure our stakeholders that Belshaw Limited is in to stay and we are in to deliver the best of products,” he said.

Kofi Asante, Marketing Manager of the company revealed that Belshaw products, which is mostly well known in the health sector, supplies over 90% of health facilities across the country with their products.

“For 40 years we have been in the business, our product is second to none and of zero effects. It started at the background of the Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Kwabena Sarpong, then gradually to Tema industrial enclave. And by hard work, dedication and motivation, we are currently nationwide,” Mr. Asante said.

Benjamin Laryea, Product Development Manager of Belshaw Limited said the company has the prowess in manufacturing and are able to customize products to suit the exact or peculiar situation. “So no matter what the situation is, we have the capacity to come out with products to solve individual’s needs.”

The Made In Ghana Awards, which was held on the theme ‘building Ghanaian brands to compete on global market’, is seeking the pride of Ghanaian indigenous most celebrated high quality  and competitive products and service organizations to create awareness, provide a boost to business profile and reputation, increase the products’ credibility in international markets and build products and service loyalty to save the local manufacturing and service industries from collapse.
