GOIL opens 410th service station at Darkuman

GOIL Company Limited has opened its 410th station at Darkuman in Accra, with a promise to reach all underserved communities across the country.

Group CEO and Managing Director of GOIL Company Limited, Mr. Kwame Osei Prempeh, disclosed this when he officially opened the modern one-stop shop service station near the Darkuman post office in Accra.

The new station is the 92nd in the south zone in Accra, and is complete with three pump islands with three nozzles each serving super XP Ron 95 and Diesel XP. It also has a modern lubricant centre to service all types of vehicles and a well- equipped tyre centre. There is also a fully-stocked GO shopping centre to cater for the consumer needs of customers.

Mr. Osei Prempeh asked customers to continue patronising GOIL fuels and lubricants not only because the company is an indigenous Oil marketing company, but also for the quality of products sold. He assured consumers GOIL will continue reaching out to all communities needing quality fuel and lubricants. GOIL’s Super XP Ron 95, he explained, has become popular with consumers because it is sold at the same price as other fuels, and also for its quality properties and attributes.

The Zonal Manager South in charge of Accra, Mrs. Helen Kyeremanteng, is grateful to traditional authorities and residents in the area – especially the Darkuman Queen mother and the Darkuman Zongo Chief – for agreeing to partner the company in bringing the station to the area. She advised commercial drivers and private vehicle owners to patronise GOIL products in order to obtain several benefits, including value for money with every litre of fuel bought.

The opening ceremony was attended by the queen mother of Darkuman, Naa Dei Dei Amobiye; Umar Yahuzah, Darkuman Zongo Chief; Ibrahim Adams, Darkuman Zongo Aqusuhene; and officials of the Fire service and other regulatory agencies.
