Adansi Rural Bank opens Ejisu branch

Adansi Rural Bank Limited, with its head office at Fomena in the Adansi North District of Ashanti Region, has opened its newest branch at Ejisu at the Ejisu Juaben Municipality in the Ashanti as part of its branch expansion drive for the 2021 operational year.

The Ejisu branch-opening now brings to eleven the total number of branches currently being operated by the Bank spread across various communities and towns in the region.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Kofi Ampofo Agyapong while enumerating some of the major steps taken to boost profitability for the bank, was hopeful that the new branch will further improve operational performance.

He observed that the bank has been widely recognised in the country over the years, and therefore urged existing and potential clients to confidently invest in the bank for good returns.

Speaking at a short but colourful ceremony to open the Ejisu branch, the Board chairman urged residents of the area to embrace the bank’s services and products particularly the petty traders along the street.

He emphasized that the primary objective of siting the branch in the midst of the traders is to afford them the opportunity to take advantage of their credit products to improve and grow their business. He assured the petty traders as well as  other itinerant traders that their money is very safe with the bank and that they should have confidence in the bank and do business them.

Nana Kofi Agyei II the Ejisu Akwamuhene who graced the opening advised staff of the newly opened Ejisu branch to show tenacity of purpose and discipline; and also remember at all times that banking is done in a dignified environment, always doing the needful to ensure security of customers and staff is adequate at all times.

He advised the petty traders at the market to open an account with the bank and do business with it, so that they can make enough profit to enable the bank support other community development activities.

Adansi Rural Bank currently operates eleven branches: These include Kaase, Dunkirk, Mbrom, Asawase and Atonsu (all in Kumasi), and Kotwi in Atwima Kwanwoma district; New Edubiase in Adansi South district; Obuasi; Akrokerri and a mobilisation centre at Adansi-Asokwa, in addition to the Head Office at Fomena, all in the Adansi North district and newly opened Ejisu branch.

The bank’s vision is to be among the top five rural banks in Ashanti Region with a three (3) fold increase in net profit within five (5) years, 2018-2022, with a mission to provide efficient financial intermediation through highly motivated staff and cutting-edge technology to delight customers and increase shareholder value in a socially responsible manner.

In recognition of a rapidly changing financial ecosystem, the bank has introduced Automated Teller Machines which are on Gh-link to provide convenience and accessibility for customers. As part of the bank’s plans to make its brand more appealing to customers, it has a mobile App and online banking powered by U-Connect from ARB Apex Bank.
