SIC Insurance Plc. has appointed Mr. Kenneth V. Acolatse as its General Manager, Finance & Administration (GM, F&A)
Prior to taking up the new role, Mr. Acolatse was serving as its Head of Finance.
He has over two decades of strong insurance industry expertise, investment management experience, regulatory and stakeholder relations management and has been involved in numerous transactions with both local and international Reinsurance and financial companies across several global markets.
His appointment as the new General Manager, Finance & Administration is intended to strengthen SIC Insurance Plc’s Executive Management team and support the company’s growth and profitability agenda.
As a key member of the Executive Management team, Mr. Acolatse will report to the Managing Director and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The GM, F&A will have the primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial/administrative related activities of the company and related entities.
He is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana and holds an International Executive MBA in Banking and Finance from the Paris Graduate School of Management, one of the top post-baccalaureate schools in France as well as a Degree in Law from Mountcrest University College.
He is a product of St. Augustine’s College – Cape Coast and Ebenezer Secondary School – Accra.
