Corpnation Foundation, a non-profit organization with the aim of empowering the youth, has been launched in Takoradi.
Saviour Adzika, Leader of Corpnation Foundation, known in Showbiz as ‘Sayvee’ explained to the B&FT in an interview that the vision of the Foundation is to “envision a world where the potential of all youth is inspired, employed and equipped to make them become responsible and participating citizens for sustainable development in the society.”
He added that Corpnation Foundation will put in place measures to “nurture and enlighten the youth on invaluable extracurricular aspects of life through formal and informal learning activities. These youth will be equipped with appropriate platforms and resources that would enhance their mental wellbeing and overall responsiveness to development.”
Mr. Adzika pointed out that “Our mother company, Corpantion –which is into event and talent management– annually organizes tours dubbed ‘Corp Tour’ to various Senior High Schools (SHS) in the Western Region to train and empower students on financial literacy, choosing a career, developing talents among others.”
Also, Corpnation annually organizes seminar for artistes and other creative arts players to train, educate and empower them on latest trends in the industry.
The leader of the foundation, Sayvee, a known artiste who also works in the energy sector has won awards such as ‘Excellence in Creative Arts’ at the 2020 edition of the Western Regional Business Awards for his exceptional ability to multitask corporate work and Creative Arts, Western Music Awards among others.
In attendance at the launch of Corpnation Foundation were people from academia, media, creative arts, oil and gas among others.
