Razben enters music market with ‘The Throne’ EP

A Ghanaian-Burkina Faso Afro Pop artist, Joulabous Jacques, who goes by the stage name Razben has entered into the Ghanaian market with his new debut EP titled ‘The Throne’.

The Throne EP has songs like Ware-We (meaning pray to God), Cest Comment (how are you), Bomper, and Shilla had three videos also ready. These songs have featured Ghanaian super stars like Wendy Shey, Samini, Fancy Gadam and Smarty, a Burkina Faso super star.

After his spectacular performance at the launch in Tema, Razben revealed to the B&FT in an interview   his agenda is to promote the two countries together through music. “Ghana is my home and its music market is doing well. My music is a representation between the two beautiful countries because Ghana and Burkina Faso are one big family,” he said.

Razben described Ghana’s music industry as an entry points for other African artist and has indicated his readiness to collaborating with other Ghanaian artists like Sarkodie, Stonebwouy, Shata Wale and others.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dot.com Events, Kwesi Boateng who is also the manager of the artist noted that Razben was discovered as a result of thier usual talent hunts and promotion of talents on their platform.

He outlined his plans to going all out to promote and support the new artist with the one-year contract which they have signed. Going digital is the way forward and have come up with a portal, ‘Razbenmusic.com’ which would be link to Dot.com Events and his page as well.
