The Corporate Poet with Stephen Ayettey: Made in my Ghana

0

Why do you travel to a far land?

Why struggling through clay and sand?

Going through the stress and pain

Spending money for others to gain

While our own goes down the drain

In our land great things abound

Eat the fruits within your own farm

Before you go elsewhere looking for more

Stop, turn around and see

We have made in Ghana

As good as gold

So good is our great country

Blessed with natural resources

Favoured with good working climate

And filled with skillful labour

We are a country with great future

We produce and manufacture

Stop, turn around and see

We have made in Ghana

Look out for made in Ghana goods

They are quality and affordable

They are efficient and durable

They are the wheels of our economy

The ladder to our destination

The fruits of our patriotism

Stop, turn around and see

We have made in Ghana

Our sacrifice and our pride

That will bring development on our side

Let us learn to embrace our own

And our nation will wear its crown

Stop, turn around and see

We have made in Ghana
