The tech start-try up has also launched a Skills Manager App to help facilitate the online course. The web app displays a lesson tracker, a project tracker and a CV builder — these serve to track a student’s progress and deliver them custom made CV’s at the end of their Codetrain experience.
The app details the year-long journey at a glance. Each Codetrainer gets to know the specific skills they would have learnt before they graduate from the program and gives them control over their learning path. The platform was created to augment their brand new hybrid program; a seamless combination of in-person training and virtual classes, in keeping with the fast-changing face of education around the world.
Codetrain as an organization is committed to making dreams come true by training anyone (you don’t have to be a tech wiz!) to become a professional software developer. Students are also taught essential soft skills by an international network of mentors and industry experts. Titus, from the pilot of the virtual program, is now working on the premier classified platform for Liberia. Afia, another product of the virtual program has launched a movie streaming website, Kuumba. Codetrain conducts admissions 4 times a year.
