The Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited, BOST has announced that it has closed down its head office at Dzorwulu in the Ayawaso West Municipality from Monday, July 6 to Monday, July 13, 2020.

This, according to a statement copied to the B&FT, has become necessary because some staff tested positive for COVID-19.

The statement read: “A mass testing of staff has been carried out by the company at the head office and a number of the staff tested positive and arrangements are being made for their treatment.”

The statement further noted that in the estimation of management, the Ghana Health Service should be able to reach out to these members of staff and isolate them for treatment within the week.

According to the statement, the head office will be fumigated over the period to ensure the safety of staff is not compromised when work resumes.

Management assured the general public that this arrangement will not negatively impact the operations of the company since all staff have the needed facilities and enhancements to work from home within the period.

Management of BOST also advised that all individuals and companies with urgent business should contact the company via its varied online portals.
