The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has affirmed that the sound economic base achieved by the government over the last coupled of years has enabled it to efficiently make the interventions announced to combat the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic in the country.
He said a strong and resilient economy is the fountain to affording all the interventions that have been announced so far.
He said it is because of the improved nature of the economy that has enabled the government to tackle most of the challenges which confronted the country on the assumption of office.
The Minister’s comments were an acknowledgment of a number of ongoing and new health infrastructure projects outlined by the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, earlier, following the announcement by the President to pursue massive infrastructural development in the health sector.
