COVID-19: Gov’t takes delivery of more locally produced PPE

A total of 1,098,503 locally produced Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has been delivered to the government, to enhance the fight against the coronavirus disease, the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has said.

The President, during his 8th COVID-19 address to the nation, assured that the supply of PPE to health workers will increase significantly, in addition to some of the already introduced incentives to health workers. The items, he said, include 905,031 nose masks, 31,630 medical scrubs, 31,472 gowns, 46,870 headcover, 83,500 face masks.
