Angel Group donates new Adonko sanitizers to GPHA clinic

In order to augment the stock of sanitary items of the GPHA Clinic, the Angel Group of Companies, has donated some 1000 bottles of the New Original Adonko Hand Sanitizers, tissues, face masks and hand gloves to the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority’s Clinic and Health Services Department.

The Adonko Bitters Limited is a beverage manufacturing wing of the Angel Group of Companies, which is applying its expertise to manufacture a new alcohol-based sanitizer to provide the Ghanaians with standard hand sanitizers to protect them from contracting the coronavirus.

Kwamena Sam Biney, a representative of the Angel Group, highlighted the crucial role G. P. H. A’s clinic plays in the Tema Metropolis and Ghana as a whole in combating the spread of COVID-19 as the motivation for the gesture.



Dr. Kissi Dompreh Ofori, Senior Medical Officer and Clinical Services Coordinator of GPHA’s Heath Services Department who accepted the donation on behalf of the Management of the GPHA Clinic, emphasized the importance of the specified protocols by health authorities in preventing the spread of the coronavirus.

The Matron of the GPHA Clinic, Elizabeth Ocansey thanked the Angel Group for their philanthropy and urged other corporate bodies to emulate the gesture.
