4th Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards held

The 2018 edition of the Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards has been held in Accra. This was the Fourth edition of an annual event organised by the Business Executive, an event-oriented organisation and a monthly business magazine published from Accra and circulated in both Ghana and Nigeria.

The awards began in 2014, with an aim to publicly recognise female achievers from various walks of life in Ghana whose corporate conduct, performance and achievements are exemplary. This year’s edition was held under the theme ‘The roles and responsibilities of women in taking Ghana beyond aid’.

In all, 21 awards were conferred on individuals. Some of the awards conferred were as follows:

  • Shirley Frimpong – C.E.O Eagle oil (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Petroleum)
  • Vivian Kai-Mensah – Head of News & Business Desk, CitiFM (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Media)
  • Abiola Bauwah –E.O UBA West African Region, (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Banking)
  • Faustina Adofo Adjager – C.E.O 1st Choice Beauty Salon (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Beauty & Makeover)
  • Sonya Sadhwani – Executive Director, Melcom (Lifetime Achievement in Brand Management)
  • Paula Baldwin – General Manager, Retail Banking, HFC Bank (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Retail Banking)
  • Baisiwa Dowuona-Hammond – GHone Television Presenter (Most Outstanding Female Television Personality)
  • Rebecca Asamoah – Model, Beauty Queen (International Achievement Award)
  • Reverend Dr. Francisca Duncan – General Overseer, Doxa Citaldel (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Religious Matters)
  • Mrs. Gifty Ama Fiagbe – C.E.O Saham Life Insurance (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Insurance)
  • Mrs. Frieda Demor Nwokolo – Director, East-Gate Hotel (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Hospitality)
  • Mrs. Afi Amoro – E.O, Jandel Limited (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Interior & Exterior Décor)
  • Felicia Twumasi – C.E.O, Homefoods Processing & Cannery Limited (Most Outstanding Female Entrepreneur)
  • Reverend Queen Horlali Williams – Founder/C.E.O Liams Foundation (Most Outstanding Female NGO Executive)
  • Amanda Alexander – Business Manager, MAC Ghana (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Automobiles)
  • Stella Irene Agyenin Boateng – HR Director/Consultant, GLICO Group (Lifetime Achievement in HR Matters)
  • Oheneyere Gifty Anti – GDA Concepts (Lifetime Awards for Excellence)
  • Auguster Asantewa Boateng – Founder, The Butterfly Effect (Most Outstanding Female Personality in Education)
