Gov’t commits GH₵200m to address sanitation issues


President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced government’s intention to allocate some GH₵ 200million to sanitation management.

The move is aimed at addressing the numerous sanitation challenges that confront the country.

Delivering the 2018 State of the Nation Address on the Floor of Parliament, Thursday, the President said: “We are putting GH₵ 200m into addressing the sanitation challenges that we have.

I am confident that by the time I come back next year, appreciable gains would have been made in improving our sanitation,” he added.
