uniCredit crowns 10th anniversary with a ball

uniCredit has held a grand dinner ball to honour partners and staff. The dinner was part of activities marking the institution’s 10th anniversary, and saw over 51 staff being rewarded in various categories. The occasion was also used to appreciate key customers who have shown commitment to the uniCredit brand over the last 10 years.

The Grand Ball, which was attended by over 700 staff and key partners, was in celebration of the phenomenal growth witnessed by the institution over the last 10 years of its existence.

Addressing the gathering, CEO Mr. Samuel Sakyi-Hyde expressed his deepest appreciation to clients and partners for their confidence in partnering with the institution. He further paid a glowing tribute to staff for their unflinching support and dedication that has made uniCredit a prefered banking partner in Ghana.

“We started this journey in 2007 with a staff strength of 22 and in a one-shop office space in Kantamanto. Today, we are the largest in terms of assets in the Savings and Loans industry in Ghana, and providing direct employment to over 800 individuals. We are the largest savings and loans company in Ghana, with 26 branches spread across 7 regions. We owe our successes to you, our loyal clients and dedicated staff, because you believed in us and have stayed with us all these years.”

Mr. Samuel Sakyi-Hyde noted that uniCredit has remained focused over the years by providing tailor-made financial products and services to support the growth of SME businesses in the country.

“Our area of expertise is in building SMEs, and we set out to empower SMEs in the area of financial services to help in the country’s general socio-economic development. We are proud to say that after 10 years we have provided a platform for many small and individual businesses to become larger and successful.”

Mr.  Sakyi-Hyde pledged the bank’s continued support for Ghanaian businesses, especially SMEs.
