Atta Krufi wins 2020 Pension Personality Award

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) Mr. Hayford Atta Krufi has received the 2020 Pension Personality Award at a ceremony in Accra.

The award was in recognition of his outstanding service, innovation and tireless efforts in the pension industry by the renowned Instinct Wave, the publishers of Instinct Business Magazine and organisers of the Instinct Business Finance Innovation Awards.

It was also for his outstanding service, innovation and tireless efforts in the pension industry. The InstinctBusiness 6thFinance Innovation Awards also saw other individuals and organisations being honoured for their enormous contribution towards the development of the nation’s financial sector. These included MTN, Absa Bank, Ghana Exim Bank among many others.



A citation accompanying “Under your leadership, the NPRA has chalked many significant successes, key amongst them include, the transfer of an outstanding GH¢3.1billion in Tier 2 pension funds to the custodial accounts of various labour unions’ pension schemes a major move that brought closure to a six-year tussle between the government and the unions over management of the funds. The opening of Sunyani and Takoradi Zonal Offices of the NPRA and the launching of a pension scheme for cocoa farmers in Ghana.”

The Director, Finance, Mr. James Addai, Director of Legal, Madam Yvonne Osei-Gyau (both EXCO members), Mrs. Eyram Tsalah of the HR & Admin Directorate and Manager, Corporate Affairs, Nana Sifa Twum, all accompanied the CEO to the event.
