GOIL donates to Chief Imam towards Eid Al-Fitr

GOIL Company Limited, GOIL, has presented food items to the National Chief Iman, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, toward celebrations of Eid Fitr or the end of Ramadan.

The items included 20 bags of rice, 15 gallons of oil, 15 cartons of tinned tomatoes, 20 cartons of assorted drinks, 40 packs of bottled water and 50 bags of sachet water.

Presenting the items on behalf of the Group CEO/Managing Director of GOIL, Mr. Kwame Osei-Prempeh, to the Chief Imam at his Fadama residence in Accra, Public Relations Manager, Robert Kyere, delivered a goodwill message from the Group CEO to the Chief Imam and Muslim community – wishing them well during the 30-days of fasting.



He said GOIL recognises the Muslim community’s contribution toward the country’s development and solidarises with them in their 30-day spiritual journey. The donation, he stressed, is therefore the company’s support towards a good cause.

Sheikh Osman Sharubutu thanked GOIL for the gesture and prayed for continued success of the company and all employees of the business.

The items were received by Alhaji Latif, PRO of the Chief Imam, in the presence of the Chief Imam himself, the Spokesperson for Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, and other officials from the Office of the Chief Imam.
