To help stem the tide of COVID-19, Dalex Finance has donated an amount of GH¢20,000 to support the 1 Million Face Masks project.

The 1 Million Face Masks project is an initiative by Fashion Connect Africa (FCA). FCA is a Ghanaian-based garment production factory that seeks to help curb the spread of COVID-19 among the less privileged.

“We need to do everything in our power to stop COVID-19 from wreaking havoc in underprivileged communities across the country. We hope the distribution of these masks will help provide a much-needed line of defence,” Yaw Acheampong Adjei, Manager-Dalex SWIFT and Corporate Communications for Dalex Finance, said as he presented the cheque.

CEO of FCA, Victoria Michaels, received the cheque on behalf of FCA and expressed her profound gratitude to Dalex Finance for the support. “We are touched by this kind gesture and the speed with which Dalex Finance has supported this project. We pledge to produce and distribute these masks very quickly as COVID-19 is on a steady rise,” she added.

Dalex Finance is a wholly Ghanaian- owned and operated Specialised Deposit-taking Institution (SDI) licenced by the Bank of Ghana (BoG). Dalex Finance has been operating in Ghana since 2006.
