The Covid-19 test result for the Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo-Marfo has returned positive, Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has disclosed.
He made this known during the media briefing on the country’s Covid-19 situation and matters arising.
“In a separate development that has come to us this morning, Senior Minister Osafo-Marfo has been informed that his sample given for test has returned positive.
He will therefore, as of today, commence treatment for Covid-19 from home,” Mr. Oppong Nkrumah said.
He also stated that the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is continuing with self-isolation while conducting state affairs from the Presidential Villa via phone and other technological means.
He wished the President and Senior Minister well, and all citizens who are battling the virus.
