The country’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have now reached 1,550, as of Sunday, April 26, 2020, with 155 recoveries and 11 deaths recorded, according to Ghana Health Service.
The count of cases per region still has the Greater Accra Region with the highest number of cases, having so far recorded 1,347 cases. This is followed by the Ashanti Region also with 69 cases and the Eastern Region with 57 cases.
Both Oti and Central regions have recorded 17 cases each while the Northern Region has 13 cases, Volta Region, 10 cases, and Upper West and Upper East regions also with 8 cases each.
The others, North-East Region has 2 cases, Western and Western North Regions also with a case each.
This leaves only three regions so far, being the Savannah, Ahafo, and Bono Regions, with no recorded cases.
