The ban on public gathering announced as part of measures to contain and stop the spread of the novel coronavirus has now been extended by two weeks, with the signing of a New Executive Instrument (EI), EI 64.
This was also in addition to the signing of a new Executive Instrument (EI) 65, which also extends the duration of the restrictions of movement imposed on some parts of the country by one week.
The enforcement of EI 64, however, is applicable to the whole country.
These latest announcements are expected to take effect from Monday, April 13, 2020.
Meanwhile, it was also indicated that ‘all other provisions, including all exemptions in EI 64 and EI 65, are still in full force and effect.”
