Nutrifoods Ghana Limited, a leader in the country’s food and culinary industry, has received multiple recognitions at the 2025 National Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Summit and Awards held in Accra.
The National FMCG Awards is an annual event that celebrates the best corporate players in the fast-moving consumer goods sector in Africa.
The forum recognises outstanding performance, exemplary products, and innovative initiatives within the FMCG industry. The awards are hosted by Global Ovations Ltd. and are part of the National FMCG Summit, which brings together leaders and innovators in the sector.
Nutrifoods Ghana was nominated in several key categories and won four awards, underscoring the strength and impact of its brands and the exceptional acumen of the team behind the brands.
Among these significant recognitions are the ‘Emerging Seasoning Brand of the Year’ award, the ‘Consumer Choice Campaign of the Year’ award, and the ‘Premium Confectionery Brand of the Year’ award. Maame Ama Afful, Nutrifoods Marketing Manager, was also crowned with the ‘Marketing Growth Champion’ award.
Tasty Tom Seasoning Powders was fêted as the ‘Emerging Seasoning Brand of the Year’. Launched in July 2024, this product line quickly captured the attention of the market, demonstrating rapid growth and general acceptance from the public.
Tasty Tom Seasoning Powders’ “Flavour Ne Taste Afa Challenge” was awarded the ‘Consumer Choice Campaign of the Year’. This highly engaging digital campaign proved a resounding success in driving online awareness for the new Tasty Tom Seasoning Powders line extension.
Through a vibrant mix of animatic, captivating artworks, instructional recipe videos, strategic influencer collaborations, and exciting fan competitions, the campaign effectively showcased the versatility of the product in various cooking applications.
The company’s premium cookie, the Perk Chocolate Chip Cookies, also received recognition as the ‘Premium Confectionery Brand of the Year’, reaffirming the brand’s quality and richness in the line of other premium products.
Maame Ama Afful’s recognition as this year’s Marketing Growth Champion demonstrates her outstanding strategic vision and execution, which have been instrumental in driving significant growth through impactful campaigns.
