Founder and CEO of Africa’s premier luxury watch brand, Caveman Watches, Anthony Dzamefe, widely recognised as one of Africa’s foremost young entrepreneurs, joined a high-profile roster of trailblazers to inspire hundreds of young aspiring business leaders at this year’s ‘Entrepreneurship Hub Africa’ event.
The summit, held at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) auditorium and aptly themed: “Fill the Auditorium,” brought together hundreds of aspiring entrepreneurs under the mentorship of influential changemakers.
Hosted by global speaker and real estate mogul Moses B. Arthur, the event was a landmark convergence of purpose, passion, and practical insight.
Addressing the audience, Mr. Dzamefe recounted how he started by selling watches with minimal capital, gradually learning the craft and scaling up to launch Caveman Watches in 2018, at the helm of a globally recognized African brand.
His story resonated deeply with attendees, many of whom are striving to carve their paths in the business world.
He challenged attendees to confront adversity with vision and grit. “Deeply believing that in the face of all adversity, your dreams are achievable is half the job done,” he declared.
With his signature of authenticity and drive, he urged the next generation of entrepreneurs to “start where they are, use what they have, and never underestimate the power of bold beginnings.”
He emphasized the importance of authenticity in brand storytelling, citing how Caveman Watches has embraced African heritage, carved a global niche, and maintained a strong identity without compromising its roots. “Innovation is not only about what’s new, but also about how well you preserve your origin while adapting to the future,” he told the packed auditorium.
