KPMG Ghana has announced the appointment of Mr. Andrew Akoto as its new Country Managing Partner.
With over 30 years of experience at KPMG, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will help drive the firm’s growth in the country and across Africa.
Before this new role, Andy served as Partner and Head of Advisory in Ghana, where he led the firm’s Risk and Management Consulting practice.
He has been a key figure in providing strategic solutions to clients in various industries, including energy, mining, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, government, and donor-funded agencies.
He has also held important leadership positions within the firm’s regional operations.
Throughout his career, he has been known for guiding and mentoring teams, ensuring high-quality services in areas such as governance, risk management, management audits, accounting advisory, forensics, and technology advisory.
His deep understanding of industry challenges has earned him the trust and respect of both clients and colleagues.
Andy is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
