The CEO of East Legon Football academy Mr. Winston Yeboah Danso has called for a renewed focus on grassroots football development, emphasizing its potential not only to transform sports but also to drive economic growth.
This passionate advocacy came after he was honored as the Future Focused CEO of the Year at the second edition of the Business Integrity Forum & Awards 2024.
Established in 2919 the East Legon football academy believes in early talent development for producing world-class football players, the founder Mr Winston Yeboah Danso has turned the academy into a beacon of hope for aspiring young athletes through training, mentorship, and education, the academy provides young children with a pathway to success both on and off the field.
In his remarks after been honored the future focused of the year Mr. Danso drew attention to the business aspect of sports, he highlighted how investment in grassroots initiatives could generate revenue, create jobs, and enhance Ghana’s reputation on the global stage.
