Directors of Amansie Rural Bank PLC with its head office at Antoakrom in the Amansie District of Ashanti Region has reiterated the Bank’s commitment to ensure the best and most convenient banking to customers at all times.
According to the Board Chairman of the Bank, Ben Kwakye Adeefe, Esq, banking is now a very competitive business and Amansie Rural Bank is extremely mindful of its banking services to customers.
The Bank according to management is always looking for opportunities to serve their customers better and so they will spare no effort to ensure that customers get the best of banking service in this highly competitive banking environment.
The Board Chairman gave these assurances at the official opening of the new branch office to relocate the already existing Ahodwo branch in Kumasi recently.
According to him the relocation is aimed at bringing convenient banking to the customers in the various Ahodwo and its adjoining Communities within the Ahodwo enclave and ultimately take customers who visit the banking hall on daily basis out of congestion.
The new Ahodwo branch office which is at the ground floor of the old branch office building has a roomier banking hall, spacious car park and enough office space for personnel to transact business in confidence as well as a conference hall for official meetings and a welcoming refreshingly ambiance to befit the bank’s status as one the best performing rural banks in Ghana currently.
The CEO of the Bank Fred Kwakye Kyei Esq assured customers of delightful customer service saying “we will leave no stone unturned to ensure that customers are happy doing business with us”
He further stressed in an interview with Business & Financial Times that the Bank would continue to put in pragmatic measures to ensure positive growth and achievement of the Strategic Plan of the Bank.
He stressed that the Bank would intensify loan recovery, embark on intensive deposit mobilization, strengthen internal controls and maintain quality assets to increase profitability.
He has also emphasised that the Bank’s business focus in 2024 is on driving growth, innovations, efficiency and service as the main pillars in achieving profitability.
As at the end of December 2023 financial year, the bank’s total deposit stood at GH¢333 million with stated capital also at GH¢4.5 million. The bank gave loans and advances to the tune of GH¢92.1million and made profit before tax of GH¢11.6 million.
Amansie Rural Bank currently operates twelve branches and these include, Antoakrom, Akrokerri, Ahodwo, Awiankwanta, Bekwai and KASS Campus. The rest are Manso Adubia, Manso Daatano, Roman Hill, OWASS Campus (Santase) and Sofoline
