The 5th edition of the CenBA Africa Business Excellence Awards was held at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on 16th December 2023 to award companies that contributed to the success of businesses through creativity and innovation in Ghana and beyond.
Angel Beverages Limited, producers of Angel Cola and other carbonated soft drinks (Angel Energy, Orange, Peach, Apple Lime, Mango) was nominated for an award.
ANGEL COLA DRINK, was awarded the fastest growing non-alcoholic beverage brand of the year at the just ended CenBa Africa Business Excellence Awards beating off other companies in the sector.
Angel Cola which is the flagship CSD brand of Angel Beverages Limited is currently the most sought-after brand in the cola category of the CSDs Market.
The Angel Cola brand has gained acceptability in the trade and it is enjoying some enviable market share in the CSDs market.
Receiving the awards on behalf of the company, the Marketing Manager, Mr. Tsatsu Hadjor reiterated the fact that though the Angel Cola brand is quite new on the market, its acceptability rate by consumers is overwhelming and this is attributed to the fact that the company is investing in high quality machinery, man power and raw materials to produce high quality products.
Dr. Kweku Oteng, Group CEO of Angel Group of Companies, was also awarded with Outstanding Industry CEO Merit Award in the category of Job Creation and Social Impact.
According to Dr. Kwaku Oteng, Angel Beverages have come to stay and he will ensure the company continues to invest in high quality staff, machinery and raw materials to ensure consistency and upholding the quality brands the company produces to the market.
