To sustain momentum, demonstrate innovation, and ensure the sustainability of the programme, the organizers of Comedy Express have introduced another unique touch to the monthly comedy show to thrill the audience.
The show has become a comedy one-stop-shop for many comedy lovers as the organizers try to add a new element of excitement to the show that would excite more than just the acts being billed.
In a very unusual development, this month’s edition dubbed the ‘All Black Edition’, will see two of Ghana’s influential personalities – the most controversial fashionable male figure in the country, Osebo the Zaraman, and SDK, host the show. These two helming the affairs of the night promises to be nothing but a fun experience.
Happening on Saturday, August 12, 2023, the acts billed to perform on the night include, MJ the Comedian, Jeneral Ntatia, Lekzy DeComic, and DKB. The show starts at 7 pm sharp at the Snap Cinemas, Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) building. Tickets are selling at GH₵100 for regular and GH₵200 for VIP.
Touching on expectations for this month’s edition, DKB, said: “The dress code for the event is all black. So, brace yourselves for an evening filled with non-stop, side-splitting jokes. Come out in your numbers and witness the explosion of comedy as you have never seen before”
He added that to ensure a 360-fun experience, there would be an after-party at Vienna City where the patrons can wind down.
