Many people have so many things that they want to achieve but sadly due to lack of planning rather than lack of ability they never actually get to achieve their dreams.

If you are one of those persons then ask yourself, what is stopping you? If things were to stay the same as they are now for the next ten years would you be happy? If the answer is a resounding NO, then the next question that should be asked is, what are you willing to do to make the change? To be able to move to the next level the answers to the following questions could help:
1, Who do you want to be?
2, What do you want to do?
3, What do you want to have?
The responses should give an idea as to what you desire and more importantly if you need to make any changes to your life. If there is a disparity between where you are and where you would like to be then the next question to be asked is, what are you going to do to get there? This would require you to be specific because this can be quite generic and leave you ending up where you started.

Write the vision and make it plain, this is what it says in Habakkuk 2. Writing down the goals or ambitions is a biblical principle. Writing things down takes it from thoughts circulating in your mind to something visible in black and white. It gives you a focus, it becomes visible, it becomes something that you can refer to. Also, writing down your goals provides an opportunity for you to really know what you hold true. Once you have written down all that you want to achieve (if you have more than one goal) you should write them down in order of priority from the highest to the lowest, however, you need to assess which is more accessible in terms of resources.

You are the only one that can ultimately accelerate your dream. You therefore need to set yourself some objectives and plan what steps you can take to get you to the next level. It is important to have timelines in which to achieve your goal by, for example, wanting to lose 7lbs in 4 months, or wanting to start, enroll on a beginner’s course in French within a year. If however your goal is long term like wanting to own a chain of homes, then it is good to break them down into shorter term goals.
It is advisable to regularly re-visit the goals you have written, not only does it serves as a constant reminder but it keeps you focused.

There may be times you will feel like you haven’t got the energy or the time to carry on with pursuing your goal but what is your motivation? Your motivation should be the reason that you initially started to pursue your goals. Keep pushing and never give up. With perseverance you will certainly get there.
