GOIL has donated two vehicles to the Ghana Prisons Service in Accra.
The vehicles, which are valued at GH¢700,000, were donated to the organisation following its request to GOIL to support its operations.
Making the presentation to the Ghana Prisons Service, Group CEO and Managing Director of GOIL, Kwame Osei Prempeh, said GOIL is pleased to donate brand new tractor and pick-up vehicles which will assist the day-to-day running of the organisation and also support its agricultural activities
He continued to acknowledge the Ghana Prisons Service as a functional body contributing immensely to security in the country, and therefore, worthy of GOIL’s support.
The Director-General, Mr. Isaac Kofi Egyir, who received the donation on behalf of the Ghana Prisons Service, expressed gratitude to GOIL for extending a helping hand to augment its operations.
Also at the presentation were Chief Finance Officer, Mr. Kwabena Adjei; Head of Administration and Human Resource, Mr. Martins Olu-Davies; Head of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Marcus Deo Dake – all of GOIL, among other officers of the Ghana Prisons Service.
