MINDSET with Gambrah Sampeney Kwabena Adjei: The mindset journey

In 1988, Oprah Winfrey asked Donald Trump on her programme if he would win in case he should run for the presidency of the United States of America, and Donald: “I don’t know, but I think I will win. I have never gone in to lose in my life and if I decided to do it I think I will be inclined…; I would say I will have a hell of a chance of winning”, and this is an excerpt of that interview, courtesy of youtube.com.

Now fast forward to 2018 and Donald Trump became the President of the United States of America, and it was exactly 30years when he spoke those words on the OPRAH SHOW.

Please let us ponder on the following questions:

First question: Is it by chance that he won the elections?

Did he decide to win it?

What are his thoughts?

And what was his MINDSET?

From the interview, one can easily deduce that he was giving answers based on his general view; however, where he found himself in 2018 proved that he wasn’t merely talking or bragging per se!

Answers to the questions:

Yes, it was by chance, but he qualified with a phrase that means MOST LIKELY.

Where he finds himself today proves that he made the decision.

His thoughts: “I think I will win” shows he was being true to himself because he became the president.

Lastly, his idea OF NEVER GOING INTO ANYTHING IN LIFE TO LOSE shows his MINDSET because he run against a formidable established politician in the person of Hillary Clinton.

So what is the point with all this?

The point is: Your words reveal your true nature, and it is a Journey.

At the time Donald Trump said these words to Oprah, he actually said he loved what he was doing at that very moment and he was really enjoying it and that he might probably not, but if it looked very bad, he might run.

This shows that it doesn’t matter your present circumstances – be it enjoyable or not, just make sure you speak words that reflect who you are and where you desire to be.

Many times, we make mistakes by thinking: if only we express how we feel now through words and speak according to the situation then we are being a realist; but hey the truth is that the situation will remain the same and you will always remain at that point.

Perhaps you are thinking in your thoughts: So I shouldn’t tell it as it is, if I can’t afford something shouldn’t I say so? if I am suffering now shouldn’t I say so?

Well, telling it as it is just reveals who you truly are from within; and in the nearby future by deeds within some years, your true personality will be out there for everybody to see.

Life simply yields to you who you are and not what you are not, and your words are your life.

Mind you, it took 30 years for what Donald Trump said to manifest. You might like him or not, but he is the 45th President of the United States of America.

Therefore, it is a journey!

The words you speak out daily are going through a journey that will eventually bring you to that end.

So, stop saying I have been saying this repeatedly yet nothing seems to be happening. The truth is: something is happening and that thing is a JOURNEY.

The Journey is simply growing, changing and coming to terms with who and what you are.

All you need in life to change your circumstances is WORDS.

Build the right words for your mind to process it into a reality for you.

In the journey, you will have to endure and persevere (continue in the course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no indication of success). Just don’t give up no matter what!

The only way we discover whether you were braggadocious, a talker, a daydreamer, a liar or a con is at the end of the words you speak from today onward.

Think about it!
