American-based Ghanaian 11-year-old boy, Nicholas Buamah has made history with the release of his newly created television comedy show based on situation comedy (sitcom), dubbed ‘Nick’s House.’ The 11-year boy who is also recognized as the best-selling author, philanthropist, and now actor hosted an exclusive red-carpet premiere in front of a sold-out audience.
The ‘Nick’s House’ red carpet movie premiere was hosted by Grammy-nominated Pastor YPJ Miller and was held at the New Black Wall Street Market in Stonecrest, Ga, Atlanta, USA. Nick’s House, which is co-created and executive produced by Buamah, also showcases all-stars Janae Madison, Seree’ Abellard, and comedian Boogie B. Montrell.
Award-winning Nollywood actor Daniel K. Daniel made a surprise appearance at the red-carpet event and was very impressed with the quality of the performance by the young moguls. Also, TV3’s very own Samara Osae of Kidz Arena in Ghana was in attendance along with government officials, media personalities, and a plethora of young moguls.
During the night’s events, the Mayor of Stonecrest Georgia presented young Buamah with a proclamation and declared July 21, 2022, Nicholas Buamah Day in the city of Stonecrest.
Nick’s House’ chronicles the lives of Nicholas and his friends, young business moguls helping other young moguls tap into their own embodiment of entrepreneurial success right from the comfort of his parent’s home. The chaos ensues when Nicholas’s immature uncle, played by funny man Boogie B. Montrell, decides to move in to help care for the young entrepreneur.
Providing some background contest to the creative production, Nicholas’s mother, Danielle stated said: “I think people will be amazed at how we plan to bring different elements of Ghana into the show. For starters, Nicholas’s father’s onset is played by a Ghanaian actor by the name of Som Aidoo. Also, the cinematic images of Nicholas used for Nick’s House were all shot in Ghana by sought-after Ghanaian photographer, Bennett Osei, better known as, Chinese Man Photography.”
Nick’s House is directed by award-winning Hollywood producer, LaMont Ferrell, who’s produced shows such as Moesha, Girlfriend’s, The Office, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, and more. The show is now in the process of being pitched to major networks and streaming platforms.
Expressing his excitement about the good reception received for the great product at such a young age, Nicholas Buamah said: “The sky is not the limit. There is no limit to your greatness.”
He has garnered many accolades to be proud of, one being honored by Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards, (EGOT) alumni, Whoopi Goldberg for Black History Month. He has also obtained global media attention for his nonprofit business savvy and philanthropic work at such a young age.
From donating school supplies to children through his nonprofit ‘Books Without Borders Inc’. to rendering health insurance services to over 1,500 Ghanaian children through the NHIS, Buamah has ignited an international presence and footprint in Ghana. Nicholas was recently named as ambassador to the Opemsuo Kid Radio Show for the Manhyia Palace Media in Kumasi, Ghana.
He is the author of three children’s books, “Kayla & Kyle: The Walking Dictionaries” series and the holiday-themed book, “Is Santa Really Real?” All three books are published and cataloged in the Library of Congress.
