Highlife legend A B Crentsil dead

Ghanaian highlife colossus, A B Crentsil, is dead. He died on Wednesday, 13 July 2022 aged 79.

Sound engineer, Fred Kyei Mensah, confirmed the highlife legend’s demise to Accra-based Asaase 99.5 Radio, as monitored by Thebftonline.com. 

A B Crentsil was born in the year 1943. He is considered one of the “big three” contemporary Ghanaian vocalists.

Some of his popular songs are “I Go Pay You Tomorrow”, “Papa Samo”, “Moses,” ‘Juliana’, ‘Atia’, ‘Angelina’, ‘Ayen, Devil’, ‘Adwoa’, ‘Adam & Eve’, and many others.
