The maiden edition of the Ghana CEO Vision & Awards has honoured over 30 Chief Executive Officers who have performed extremely well within the various sectors of the economy with their innovative ideas, exemplary and visionary leadership and skills.
The purpose of the awards is to provide the utmost exposure and a thriving platform for CEOs to stay connected, relevant, ahead of the game and get verified via documentary films, awards and magazines. The awards is also an iconic premium brand that provides the biggest and most coveted pitching platforms for CEOs who have used the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately the country. It brings together the best CEOs in each business sector of Ghana.
Speaking about the awards, Project Manager Latif Abubakar said: “The objective is to pitch Ghana to the world, and this time around we are using more of the private sector CEOs to sell Ghana through each business sector; so we have a CEO representing the mining sector, oil and gas sector and others.
“These CEOs are going to pitch Ghana to the world through a documentary that will be recorded, wherein they will share their experience and vision while selling their industry, and that will be shown across the world on various platforms,” he explained.
Mr. Abubakar further explained that the board’s selection of these CEOs was based on their experience, credibility and good track-record, as well their ability to pitch their industry and business to the world. He added that the awards are scheduled for every two years.
