The Asante Professionals Club (APC) has paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace to outdoor newly elected executives.
The newly elected executives include Ama Serwah Nerquaye-Tetteh, the first female President, Patrick Asamoah, Vice President and Nana Ama Ofori – Amankwah, the General Secretary.
The rests are Abena Bimpomaa Amponsah, the Financial Controller, Agyemang Duah Agyekum, Events, Outreach & Development Projects Coordinator, Godfred Owusu Jnr Esq, Research and Communications Coordinator and Oxford Osei Bonsu, the International Affairs Coordinator.
The leadership of APC explained that while they were at the Palace to seek blessings and pay homage to the Asantehene, the engagement created the opportunity for them to also introduce their new executive members.
In furtherance to the grant of their request, Otumfuo advised the group on how to achieve their goal of ensuring development in Asanteman.
The Asantehene assured the leadership of the APC of his readiness to support their endeavours to pursue and execute any project for the development of Asanteman.
The Asante Professionals Club is a “think and do-tank” voluntary association of independent professionals hailing from the Asante Kingdom of the Republic of Ghana. It is a not-for-profit organisation with high interest in development of Asanteman and its people; registered under the Companies ACT 1963 (ACT 179) as a company limited by guarantee.
Its special strength lies in the combination of its diversity, spirit of peace, harmony, friendship and shared inheritance and history.
