How are you currently feeling?
Hurray!! There’s something exhilarating about being in that place in your life where you feel generally great. It’s that space where you find that you’re on top of your game, meeting your deadlines, hitting your targets and achieving your goals. And that’s the place where we all strive to get to, and once you get there, the feeling is simply fulfilling.
It’s fulfilling because the ultimate aim for most people is to see their efforts, work and labor yield the expected results they desire. That by all means is one of the most beautiful moments in life anyone can experience. So if you find yourself feeling great, enjoy the moment, time and period because you’ve earned it. Keep meeting your needs! You got this!
Yeah I know that feeling, the place where you feel okay, just okay. Things aren’t going as you’d like neither is it also below what you expect. So you are moving in the okay mode, where you just go with the flow. Not where you want to be and yet not where you used to be. You feel okay and though it’s far from what you want, you feel like you’re stable. And that certainly is okay for now and now only. How can you make your day a tiny bit better?
Sometimes in life you get to a place where you realize that you’re struggling. Many things are tagging at you all at once and you feel like you’re suffocating. There’re decisions that you need to make and yet you can’t because of certain obstructions in the background. One of the most uncomfortable places to be is in the place of struggling.
In some instances, the situation is out of your hands because you’re not in control of some aspects of your life. If you find yourself in this place it helps to practice triage. What area of your life is suffering the most right now? Focus on the one area today.
Good is good as simple as that! You find yourself at a place where you like and are happy. Feeling good gives you positive vibes and makes you hopeful that things can only get better from here. And that’s encouraging, because sometimes that’s all the push you’ll need to get to the next level. How can you maintain the levels you’re currently at?
Feeling blah isn’t a pleasant feeling but I believe it’s necessary. You don’t like the way you’re feeling and just can’t bring yourself to find the words to describe exactly how you feel. Most of the time when you feel this way all you want is to occupy yourself with things. Anything to distract you and serve as an escape for you. It can be very discouraging to be in that bleak place. Human as we are, that innate feeling of wanting to be in charge makes it very frustrating when nothing is happening.
How can you love on yourself today?
Be extra kind to yourself.
Well at least you can put a name to how you’re feeling, so it means all is not lost. Things don’t always go as planned and that’s okay, it gets unacceptable when it occurs in a frequent succession.
It can be daunting when every time attempt made at getting back on your feet, you hit a road block. And this happens back to back with no respite in sight and that can be draining. Not knowing what to do or understanding which direction you’re heading can just take every ounce of energy in you. Regardless still give yourself a chance. Pinpoint what’s draining you and try to create a boundary and then do one thing that fills you up.
Regardless of how you might be feeling at the moment or this point in your life, just know that you’re not alone. Each one of us is at a different point and place in our lives. And so after answering the question of how you’re feeling, don’t be discouraged or feel let down by your response. After all we all grow at different rate/pace and that’s ok.
