Mr Kwaku Tweneboah-Kodua, General Manager, Retail of Société Générale Ghana has reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to promoting a savings culture while rewarding loyal customers through its ongoing “Deposit and Drive” and “Insure and Win” promotions.

“In February, we gathered to launch the Deposit and Drive Promotion, with one core mandate – to help our clients foster a culture of savings while winning mouthwatering prizes. We asked depositors to especially keep their eyes on the ultimate prize – The brand-new Toyota Rav 4 Adventure,” he mentioned.

Speaking at the second mini draw held in Accra, he announced that 40 more customers were being rewarded, bringing the total number of winners so far to 80.

He also noted that participation in the promotion has exceeded expectations and credited the success to his team’s dedication, from branch staff to back-office support.

“We’ve already rewarded 40 lucky customers, and today we’re one step closer to the ultimate prize. The participation has exceeded our expectations, and it is a testament that our message is resonating. We could not have done this without the support of my entire team, from the frontline branch staff to those working behind the scenes in the back offices,” he noted.

He also added that “to our customers, we say there is still so much ahead to be won- trips to Singapore and Dubai, brand new laptops and phones, and of course the all new and shiny Toyota Rav4 Adventure. So, continue to hold your deposits in your accounts and stand the chance of winning big.”

The event also featured winners from the bank’s “Insure and Win” campaign, run in partnership with SanlamAllianz.

Naa Adjeley, Head of Motor & Mass Market distribution at SanlamAllianz mentioned that “at SanlamAllianz, we believe insurance should be simple, rewarding, and within everyone’s reach. This partnership with SG is proof of what’s possible when two institutions come together with a shared vision: making life easier and more secure for our clients.”

According to Ms. Adjeley, buying comprehensive motor insurance through the bank offers financial protection, peace of mind, and a chance to win special prizes. From fuel coupons to luxurious staycations, they’re making insurance valuable and rewarding for customers.

“Over the past weeks, every comprehensive motor insurance policy purchased through the bank was more than just a transaction — it was a step towards financial protection, peace of mind, and today, a chance to win something special. From the fuel coupon giveaways to this luxurious staycation prize, we are glad to make insurance not only valuable — but also rewarding,” she revealed.

“To every client who participated- thank you for choosing convenience, coverage, and confidence through SG Bank. And to our partners at SG, thank you for your continued collaboration in making insurance more accessible to everyone,” she added.

Beryl Adom of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) commended Société Générale for prioritizing customers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of savings and financial responsibility.

“We commend Société Genérale for ensuring regulatory compliance, for putting customers first, for rewarding loyalty, and for reinforcing the culture of saving and financial responsibility, especially in times like these when resilience and planning are more critical than ever,” she said.

“As the institution mandated to regulate games of chance and promotions of this nature, the NLA is here to guarantee the credibility and legitimacy of the draw process. We ensure that every participant has a fair and equal chance, and that
