Wednesday’s Concert also adds to the list of accomplishments for Maximum Jazz, giving Maximum Jazz Worldwide Recognition & Endorsements from the International bodies- UNESCO & UN.
Besides, Yomi added, elaborate celebrations of Jazz on April 30 would help create more Jazz Communities and expand existing ones in Ghana, leading to more Jazz appreciation.
Hopefully this would be used to woo more Sponsorship and Financial support for Jazz as needed by the Media Space ( Radio & Television) and for Artistes performance

It is celebrated annually on April 30.The idea came from jazz pianist and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Herbie Hancock.
Jazz Day is chaired by Hancock and the UNESCO Director-General.
