When Ghana’s fashion industry converged

A force of creativity, culture, and innovation, Ghana’s fashion scene has always been dynamic. However, making that leap into creating a lasting global impact, where more than talent is required was the basis for a summit that brought together leaders from all levels of the Ghanaian fashion ecosystem.

Last Tuesday, the Fashion & Design Summit Ghana town hall saw a diverse network of industry professionals including designers, textile innovators, stylists, models, photographers, brand strategists, retailers, artisans, educators, cultural historians, manufacturers, and policymakers, all coming together to contribute to a shared vision with an aim of sparking “collective action”. The strong representation at the summit screamed that, indeed, it is time to “build stronger structures and create opportunities that elevate our industry to new heights.”

Held at the British Council hall, the summit, organized under the theme:

‘Building the Blueprint: Structuring

Ghana’s Fashion Industry for Global Success’ served as a collaborative platform for insightful discussions, networking, and strategy-building to drive the structuring of Ghana’s fashion industry toward global success.

It was organized by Debonairafrik and Fashion Forum Africa.
