The Ga Traditional Council has announced the dates for observance of the Ban On Drumming & Noisemaking from Monday, 12th May to Thursday, 12th June, 2025. It applies to every resident in the Ga State. The ban is a period of fasting and quiet spiritual reflection within the Ga state to purify the land. Ekashi fann! No ifs, buts or whys!
