Dear Daddy,
As I reflect on the incredible journey of my life, I am overwhelmed with effusive gratitude for the pivotal role you have played in sculpting my destiny.
Our inaugural encounter, over 40 years ago, during the halcyon days of Showers of Blessing, was the catalyst for a transformative metamorphosis that has reverberated across every aspect of my existence – spiritually, intellectually, economically, psychologically, financially, and socially.
Your influence, guidance, and mentorship have been the linchpin driving force behind my accomplishments. Your recommendation opened the doors for me to attend Ghana’s premier theological seminary, and your encouragement propelled me to pursue two master’s degrees. Your prophetic declarations and interventions have been instrumental in our 25-year marriage celebration, which Mama Dela and I will mark on 26th February 2025.
But, Daddy, I am particularly grateful for your unwavering support during the most challenging season of our lives – the first ten years of childlessness in our marriage. Your comforting presence, reassuring words, and fervent prayers stood with us like a rock, until the miraculous arrival of our son, Gideon. Your fatherly love and care during that trying period will forever be etched in our hearts.
Your trust in me has been unwavering, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunities you have afforded me within your ministry. From humble beginnings as a trainee pastor in IBWC to the longest-serving Executive Pastor at the Headquarters (20 years), and now, as the Head Pastor of Royalhouse Chapel East Legon Assembly, I am humbled by your confidence in me.
Your recommendation has also led to my roles as Co-Chairman of the Ghana Missions Board and General Secretary of Royalhouse Chapel.
Daddy, I celebrate you today, not just for the countless lives you have impacted, but for being a living embodiment of God’s love, wisdom, and power to me and my family. Your life is a testament to the transformative power of faith, and I am honoured to call you my daddy and spiritual father.
Here is a heartfelt prayer to many more years of life, ministry, and kingdom impact! May this milestone birthday mark the beginning of a new season of supernatural blessings, favour, and joy.
With deepest love, respect, and gratitude,
Rev. Derek Amanor
