Electroland Ghana Limited, a leading dealer in Samsung, Midea, TCL, and Nasco electronic products and home appliances, has rewarded about 55 lucky winners in its January Akyedea Kesea draw and Valentine’s Day promotion.
The promo which rolled out in October 2024 is a customer loyalty reward programme aimed at rewarding customers who buy just anything regardless of the amount from any of their showrooms in Ghana.
Additionally, the promo is also targeted at increasing the brand’s competitive advantage in the market, as it aims to maintain its position as a market leader.
Head of Marketing & Media Relations, Electroland Ghana, Adiza Ibrahim, highlighted that customer satisfaction is a core value of Electroland and as such has in stock a variety of products that meet the pocket value of everyone.
She emphasised that the brand offers one of the most affordable prices for Samsung, Midea, TCL, and Nasco products, hence the public must visit its showrooms across the country to participate in the ongoing draw to win something unique.
“Since 2006, Electroland has been dedicated to the provision of quality products at the best market rate to our cherished customers. Since the introduction of this promotion, customers all over Ghana get to win a thing a two from the four weekly draws and one monthly draw at the end of every month.
“As we mark Valentine’s Day, today marks the 2000th winners having 55 lucky winners go home with diverse appliances who participated in January 2025,” she said.
Unlike other promotions on the market, the unique nature of the Akyedea Kesea promotion is that any item a customer buys regardless of the price, qualifies the buyer for the pending weekly and monthly draws.
This scheme which is approved and regulated by the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Caritas offers every customer from across Ghana the opportunity to enter into a weekly or a monthly draw simply by buying anything starting from small kitchen appliances such as iron, kettle, blender and they will be lucky winners of big appliances such Television, Air conditioner, washing machines, gas cookers, freezers, computers, mobiles phones and more.
Representing the NLA at the promo draw, Jackie Acquaye, said: “We at the NLA have validated the promotion modalities and the process. We have also run the data from the promo in our Caritas platform and are satisfied that everything is in order and so the public is assured of the authenticity.”
She took the opportunity to educate the public against responding to anonymous calls from fraudsters claiming to be staff of NLA intending to give them free lotto numbers.
To participate in the ongoing campaign, individuals have to purchase any product of choice from any of the Electroland shops nationwide and be guided by the sales executives to participate in the promo.
This Valentine’s Day draws rewarded winners from January, the first week in February and some 10 additional winners from a special Valentine promo on social media. Some winners were also selected on social media for following and tagging Electronic Ghana posts.
Patience Akonner Dadzie, a resident of Aburi also won double door fridge and Microwave in January and also won two prizes – a fruit processor and a water heater, in the Vals Day promo.
The event was graced by media personalities including, Deloris Frimpong, AJ Akwako Sarpong, Serwaa Amihere and popular comedian Waris as the MC for the day.
