The Ghana International School Parent-Teacher Association (GIS- PTA) Bazaar 2025, dubbed The 2025 Community FunFest, with the theme “Empowering our Community, is set to happen on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at the GIS primary school campus in Accra
The event is designed for all looking for fun, new discoveries in products, services, ideas, networking and relaxation etc. Entry fee is GHS 50 and free for children under three years.
This highly anticipated, fun-filled family activity aims to strengthen community bonds while raising funds to support some essential educational initiatives at GIS.
The GIS-PTA Bazaar remains a landmark event on the school’s annual calendar, bringing together students, parents, faculty, and the wider local community for exciting activities, games, food, entertainment, networking opportunities etc.
The Community FunFest attendees will enjoy an array of attractions and engaging activities such as a soccer tournament, the Upside – Down Room, a vibrant marketplace with a diverse range of vendors and sponsors, showcasing a variety of products and services – a really unique shopping experience. Families and friends have a full day safe and welcoming space to bond and create lasting memories. The event is free for children under three years and GHS 50.00 for everyone else. There will also be raffles with exciting give aways.
This lively setting while bringing lots of fun and goodies to Attendees and to the Community, also generates multiple resources and avenues for promoting education & learning. Proceeds from the Bazaar are used judiciously for developing the school and wider community, to the benefit of Students, their Families and to the wider Community.
