Trans-Sahara Industries, Opportunity International strike partnership

Trans-Sahara Industries and Opportunity International Savings & Loans Ltd have struck a partnership to provide financing to rural consumers for bicycles under the USAID Bicycles for Growth.

The USAID BFG project aims to reduce poverty and improve socio economic activities in Sub-Saharan Africa by improving sustainable uptake of affordable, fit for purpose bicycles in Rural Areas.

During the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the BFG project team lead in Ghana, Emmanuel Gyabeng Essem, and associate of J.E Austin Associates outlined the needs and expectations of the organizations involved in providing low cost mobility for rural consumers in Ghana.



CEO of Opportunity International Savings and Loans Ltd, Kwame Owusu Boateng signed on behalf of his firm as the financing partner to the project whilst the CEO of Trans-Sahara Industries, Mr Gerald Acheampong represented his company as the product suppliers to the project.
